Discovering New York City in 48 Hrs

A fast-paced documentary journey through New York City, exploring iconic landmarks, local food, urban culture, and an unexpected accident that turned an ordinary ride into one of the trip's most memorable moments.

Over 48 hours, this film explores the many faces of New York City. From the bright lights and relentless energy of Times Square to the elegant storefronts of Fifth Avenue and the peaceful landscapes of Central Park, the journey moves through the city's most recognizable locations while searching for the stories hidden between them. Through local food, street life, architecture, and everyday encounters, the film captures the rhythm of a city that never seems to slow down.

The Story

The story follows New York through movement, contrast, and personal experience. Crowded intersections give way to quiet park paths, luxury avenues meet neighborhood food spots, and familiar landmarks reveal unexpected details. Along the way, a sudden bicycle crash in the heart of Manhattan transforms the journey into something more personal, adding an unplanned chapter to a film about exploration, resilience, and embracing the unpredictability of travel.

Behind The Scenes

Filmed across New York City over two intensive days using a lightweight travel filmmaking setup. Production involved early-morning shoots, extensive walking routes, public transportation, street audio collection, and fast-paced location changes between Manhattan landmarks. An unexpected bicycle accident during filming became one of the most memorable behind-the-scenes moments of the entire production, ultimately finding its way into the story itself.
